Pediatric Eye Exams

  • Has your child had an eye exam? Did you know we can see patients as young as 6 months old?

  • Dr. McMahon is residency trained in pediatrics and has a passion for children’s vision.

  • The American Optometric Association recommends:

  • Our vision impacts not only our ability to see clearly but our ability to read and function in a school setting.

  • A pediatrician screening or a screening at school IS NOT a comprehensive eye exam, and many times children with vision problems fall through these cracks and their vision is not corrected properly leading to future and sometimes permanent visual problems.

  • Even if your child is not showing or complaining of any visual problems, they could be silently suffering with poor vision. How would a child know what clear vision looks like if they have never seen clear vision before?
